Full Name:Natalia Grey
Age: 5
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight(Not that she knows what it means.)
Class: Preschooler(Female)
Starting City: Nuvema Town
Overall Appearance: Natalia is a young girl of 3 feet, 6 inches, standing about average for a girl her age. Her face is round and smooth, adding to her cute personality. She has large, light brown eyes, that are inviting to children and adults alike, allowing her to make friends easily. Her hair is of similar color to her eyes, although most of it is covered by her yellow hat, which resembles a construction hat crossed with a rain hat. The brown hair that she shares with other girls of her age is somewhat short, her bangs out of her face and pushed to the sides, and the rest coming down in two pigtails that don't even reach her shoulders. She keeps her hair in tied with two heart-shaped clips, differentiating her from the usual preschooler. Her usual attire consists of a blue sweater, somewhat baggy on her, but it isn't long on her. She wears a light-pink skirt that goes down to her mid-thigh as well, though it fits better than the shirt. Her socks and shoes are generic at best, her socks coming up to mid-shin and her shoes being a normal blue. Lastly, she has a small yellow purse she takes everywhere with her. It generally contains small snacks and small amounts of money, though she may carry the occasional toy or book in there as well.
Overall Personality:Despite only being 5 years old, Natalia thinks she has the rest of her life planned out. She is rather smart thanks to her parents constantly talking with her about work and such, and because of Natalia's love of reading, she has learned a lot through books as well. However, she is in no way anti-social either. Like the average little girl, she loves playing with her friends, and will generally put down a book to play with them. She doesn't play very often, however, as most of her friends go to a regular school, while she is home schooled by her mother. Because of this, she will often make pretend or play with her mother's Pokemon, as her father's are usually with him. She is rather brave for a girl her age, although she will get scarred and cry after a while if she gets lost. She will try to find her way home before simply giving up and crying. She is also passionate about Pokemon battling, and loves to watch and occasionally participate in them, despite not having Pokemon of her own.
History: Despite her age, Natalia is nothing short of being at least somewhat skilled in the area of Pokemon. With her mother being a teacher, who quit her job at the local school to home school Natalia when she was old enough, and her father, who is a high-ranking employee at the Battle Company in Castelia, her experience is rather remarkable for her age. Since she was an infant, she was always playing with her mother's Pokemon, a Clefable and an Unfezant. The Clefable was a rarity, as not only was it a non-Unovan Pokemon, it was also very rare. Her mother, Lilly Grey, had came from Kanto, which is why she has a Kanto Pokemon. Natalia's father, however, is very different from her mother.
Harley Grey, the father of Natalia, is a very high-ranking employee of the Castelia Battle Company, which is a company that delivers in the department of Pokemon battles, if it wasn't clear. He became a trainer at a young age, not much older than Natalia is now, actually. Since then, he has raised many Pokemon, almost all of them becoming powerful Pokemon. Because of his job, he is often traveling, and as such, Lilly and Natalia are often by themselves. Despite this, Harley still loves his family very much, and will take any opportunity he can to spend time with them. It wasn't long after Natalia's fourth birthday, however, that even these meetings became learning experiences for Natalia.
One weekend, when Harley was able to spend the weekend with his family in Nuvema Town, he offered his daughter a Pokemon battle. Natalia was rather confused, not having really studied the idea of Pokemon battles before. Her father, however, was happy to teach her a little bit, which Natalia grasped onto quickly. Her father loaned her a Metagross and Archeops for the battle, her father using Scrafty and Volcarona. Harley helped her throughout the battle, letting her defeat Scrafty after a few minutes. He didn't however, let her win, as Volcarona quickly took care of Metagross and Archeops. Despite losing, and having a long cry afterwards, it inspired her to learn as much about Pokemon battles as she could so one day she could beat her father.
These battles occurred almost every single time Natalia's father could spend time at the house, and even when he wasn't, she would watch videos and visit Professor Juniper's lab to watch new trainers have their battles. After a little longer then a year, her father took her on a trip to his workspace, to show her some high-level, intense battles. Natalia watched in awe, her mouth agape as large and powerful Pokemon attacked each other relentlessly, shooting balls of flame and strikes of lightning at each other. The next day, her father brought her to the Battle Subway in Nimbasa, and despite the temptation of Ferris wheels and roller coasters, she went with her father straight to the subway station. Here, her father told her they would be battling together as a team, which made her overcome with joy. Using a few of her father's Pokemon, Harley and Natalia swept the competition, coming home to the cheers of her mother and friends.
As of recently, she has continued studying and playing with her friends, although she does miss the feeling she had when commanding her father's Pokemon on the subway.
RP Sample: The small girl's eyes were locked on to her opponent as he stood tall over her. A courteous smile adorned the face of the older gentleman in front of her, his Herderier standing by his side loyally while his master awaited the girl's answer. "Sure, I can battle!" she said happily, a confident smile spreading across her face as she looked up at him. The man nodded, chuckling lightly before turning around, walking away a few feet before turning to face her again. "Herderier, despite her being a young child, we shall win this," he said, the dog Pokemon turning his head and giving a small nod before turning back to Natalia and giving an intimidating bark. The preschooler held her ground, however, and dug her hand into her purse before pulling out a sleek red and white Pokeball, pointing it in the direction of the gentleman before her. He gave a nod, which caused a smirk to spread across her face. "Alright Dewott, show them what we got!" she said as she tossed the Pokeball in the air, a bolt of red energy releasing from it after a moment, hitting the ground in an instant. From a the beam came a bipedal otter of sorts, holding two large shells in it's hand. It gave a shout of vigor at it's opponent before turning it's head slightly to see it's trainer, giving her a wink. Natalia couldn't help but giggle for a moment, until an abrupt cough came from the man, causing her to blink in realization. She stumbled momentarily, straightening her hat before looking at the man seriously. "R-Right, sorry," she mumbled, slightly embarrassed at how easily she had been distracted. "Let's go then."
